Mission and Vision
At the CF48 & OM48 Research Centre, our mission is to meticulously examine and celebrate the remarkable journey of OM29 and CF48. Rooted in democratic principles and social responsibility, our vision is to illuminate OM29’s and CF48s role as a beacon of resilience and community engagement.
History and Background
CF1948 is a non-profit NGO founded in 2020, aims to drive positive social change locally, nationally, and regionally through education, research, and cultural heritage preservation. It emphasizes inclusive cultural engagement, democratic participation, and tackles contemporary societal challenges such as racism, youth engagement, gender equality, environmental sustainability, and public health, among others, to foster overall societal progress. OM29 Established in 2018 in response to the sale/privatization of the football department of Omonoia Nicosia, OM29 quickly emerged as a symbol of steadfastness and democratic governance. Since its inception, the club has garnered significant achievements, including three consecutive promotions and ownership of its training center.
